Privacy Policy

PicListed is operated by Alexander Van. This policy explains how we handle information when you use piclisted.com to prepare item listings. Contact support@piclisted.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, account identifiers, sign-in records, and account verification status. Email-and-password accounts store a password hash, not your plain-text password.
• Google sign-in: Google provides a unique account identifier and basic profile information, such as your email address and name. We use this to authenticate you and create or connect your PicListed account. Google sign-in does not give PicListed access to your Gmail messages, contacts, or Google Drive files.
• Listing content: photos, item notes, descriptions, prices, comparable sales, and other details you supply. Signed-in saved drafts may include compressed photos. Some drafts and preferences are stored in your browser.
• Service records: generation results, usage allowances, timestamps, subscription identifiers if billing is enabled, support messages, and technical information such as IP addresses, request and error logs collected by our hosting services.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure accounts, save drafts, generate listing suggestions when available, manage usage allowances, deliver confirmation and password-reset messages, respond to support requests, and diagnose service problems. We do not sell your personal information or use Google account data for advertising.

Service providers and sharing

Microsoft Azure hosts our application and database and provides operational monitoring. Google processes Google sign-in. Resend delivers account emails. Cloudflare provides domain services and routes support emails to our support mailbox, which is hosted by Google.

When you request an AI photo analysis and that feature is available, your submitted photos and item notes are sent to OpenAI to produce suggestions. Avoid uploading sensitive documents, faces, addresses, or other personal information that is unnecessary for your listing. AI processing is subject to the provider's processing and retention practices as well as this policy.

If paid subscriptions are enabled, Stripe processes checkout and payment information; PicListed stores billing identifiers and subscription status rather than full payment-card details. Marketplace services receive listing information when you choose to submit it through an available integration. The current Facebook workflow requires you to complete the listing on Facebook yourself.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect users and the service, or to a successor operating the service with appropriate notice and safeguards. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

Cookies and browser storage

We use authentication and security cookies to keep you signed in and protect requests. Browser storage may hold drafts, compressed photos, and interface preferences. Clearing browser storage removes locally saved information but does not delete saved account data on our servers. The application does not currently include advertising trackers.

Retention and your choices

We keep account information, saved drafts, and usage records while needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. There is currently no fixed automatic deletion schedule for all account data. Copies in backups and provider logs may remain after removal from the active application.

You can edit or delete saved drafts in the app. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account and associated data, email support@piclisted.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. You can revoke Google access in your Google account settings; revoking access does not by itself delete your PicListed account.

Security and age

We use HTTPS, account authentication, and restricted service credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security. PicListed is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
